Nell Tekampe

Nell Tekampe is the owner of Showtime Farms and a carded horse show judge. She creates equestrian based content as well as consults others in the boarding industry helping set up and manage their equine operations. She specializes in ethical equine sales and buys and sells horses including taking horses on consignment.

Nell is an AQHA, APHA, and PtHA Professional horseman, an APHA Certified Clinican, and a Pinto Horse Association Hall of Fame and Horse Person of the Year inductee. She has almost 40 years experience in the horse industry and has managed several of the largest boarding, breeding and horse sale farms in the midwest before buying Showtime Farms in 2016.

She is a multi carded international horse show judge and is carded with 17 associations and breeds including AQHA, APHA, NSBA, PtHA, PBHA, IBHA, ABRA, ApHC, POAC, AMHA, ASHA, USEF, WDAA, NASMADA, WIHA, ISHJ, and WHC. She has judged the World and National shows for many of these associations. She currently serves on the PtHA Excecutive Board as well as the USEF WDAA Rules Committee and was the 2023 PtHA National President.

In her spare time she spends time with her Russian Mainecoon cats and enjoys a hobby as an artist.
